Structural Repairs
A brick wrap repair is widely used and will come with a Structural Engineers Certificate. This system of repair leaves the external concrete panel walls in place and a new brick outer skin cavity wall is built around the house, hence the term 'wrap'. You can stay in the property during the repair process. There are a number of smaller mortgage lenders who will accept this system of repair. Most major High Street Lenders will not lend for this method of repair.
A PRC Homes Licenced full repair is acceptable to most High Street lenders. This system of repair involves removing the external concrete walls and the concrete beams within the house. It would not be possible to live in the house during the repair process.
