Retrospective PRC Certificate Airey Houses Leeds The PRC Repair Co

We have been able to arrange for a retrospective PRC certificate for a Client looking to buy their repaired Airey house in Leeds. The Clients were buying the property under the right to buy scheme with a mortgage, the mortgage lender would not proceed with the loan until a PRC certificate was issued by a recognised PRC Engineer.

The Airey house was repaired by the Local Authority 25 years ago using the Leeds City Council Scheme type 1, the Local Authority never issued a PRC certificate at the time of the repair although they did have details on the repair scheme used and the builder who carried out the works.

An inspection of the Airey house was arranged to confirm that the property had been repaired to the Leeds City Council scheme. Once this inspection had confirmed the Airey house had been repaired to the approved scheme a retrospective PRC certificate was issued and the mortgage was completed by the lender.
