Airey House Repair Surrey
The Clients already owned the property and used savings to pay for the repair works. They are looking to sell the house in the coming years so they wanted a mortgage approved repair scheme and issued with a PRC certificate.
Some of the concrete posts were in a poor condition and this is the reason mortgage lenders will not approve mortgages on PRC houses.
The Airey posts can easily be seen once the concrete panels are removed. The foil backed plasterboard will remain in place.
The new cavity construction wall is built which has insulation in the cavity to conform to building regulations. The Building Inspector from the Local Authority will carry out regular inspections and issue a completion certificate. The PRC Engineer will also make inspections and issue the PRC certificate once the repairs are completed.
New doors and windows were fitted along with french doors leading on to the rear garden. UPVC soffits, fascia and guttering were also added for a smart appearance and is usually part of the standard work on Airey house repair.
The gable end chimney was removed to give more living space.
A good size porch was also built giving plenty of space and 3 windows for light.
A bow window was added to the kitchen
